A Tale of Two Cumbrian Folk Tunes - for Multi-Level String Orchestra

This arrangement features two well-loved Cumbrian Folk Tunes - starting with the wistful Sally Gray - a beautiful song based on the poem by the Cumbrian poet Robert Anderson - and then the livelier ‘D’Ye Ken John Peel’ - a Cumbrian classic, which remembers Cumbrian farmer John Peel from many years ago.

As with all Pick ‘n’ Mix Strings Multi-Level pieces, this arrangement offers multiple part options to suit everyone- from complete beginners to advanced players - and all those in-between. Just pick ‘n’ mix the most appropriate parts for your players! This piece will work equally well as a piece for Senior and Junior Strings (which can then be combined for a tutti performance) OR as a piece for mixed ability string orchestra, who rehearse together as one group throughout.
