This Scales and Arpeggios Resource Pack is designed to help students practice the scales and arpeggios on the ABRSM Grade 2 Violin syllabus - all using the LONG TONIC option.
Originally written as a practice aid for my own violin students, I have found that the combination of the Colour Coded String Fingering, Violin Diagrams and Play-Along Videos (provided at 3 different tempo options) have significantly improved my students’ ability to practice scales effectively at home between lessons. Hopefully others might find these resources useful as well!
Included in this resource pack is:
Printable PDF Scale Sheets for all 7 Scales and Arpeggios (C, F, G, A & B♭ Major and G and D Harmonic Minors). This includes scales in both separate bow and slurred versions and each page includes Colour-Coded String Fingering and Violin Finger Diagrams.
